How do I order?

Browse through the shop using the navigation pane to the left of the page. To add a product to your order, click `Add to Basket`; the shopping basket panel at the top right of the page will be updated with the number and total price of the items in the basket. When you have completed your selection click `View Basket` in the shopping basket panel. This takes you to a new page where you have the opportunity to edit the contents of your shopping basket by changing the quantity in the appropriate box and clicking 'Update'. Simply set the quantity to zero to remove an item. Finally, click 'Checkout' to proceed to the payment page. All prices include VAT where appropriate.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept credit card and debit card payments through PayPal Website Payments. Financial details are provided directly to PayPal via a secure web page. Your credit card information is protected with industry-leading security and fraud prevention systems and is at no time provided to Twist in the Tale.

I don't live in the UK; can I place an order?

Yes, in addition to the UK, we accept orders from customers in the USA, Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand but will not accept orders from other countries. Customers outside the UK are responsible for all import duties and taxes.

USA Orders - Please select USA from the drop down menu found next to the shopping basket on each product page. Once selected all prices will be displayed in US Dollars. Shipping will be calculated and shown on the checkout page.

Other Countries - Customers in Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand may choose to use either the US or UK version of the website. If the UK version is used we will make contact by email to provide a quotation prior to shipping. If you have any queries, please contact us via email: mail@twistinthetale.co.uk.

How much is delivery? When will my order be dispatched and how long does delivery take?

Delivery to addresses within the United Kingdom:-

Standard Service - Orders will be dispatched within 48 hours via Royal Mail using second class postage. Please allow 5 - 7 working days for your order to reach you.

Express Service -   Available for UK postal addresses at an additional cost. Orders received by 12 noon will be dispatched the same working day where possible, otherwise next working day, via Royal Mail first class post. Items will therefore typically take between one and three working days to arrive. If you have an urgent order then please call us on 01494 726234.

Delivery to addresses in the United States of America and other countries:-

Standard Service  - Orders will be dispatched within 48 hours via Air Mail. Please allow 6 - 8 working days for your order to reach you.

Express Service -   Available at an additional cost. Orders received by 12 noon will be dispatched the same working day where possible, otherwise next working day, via Airmail Airsure service. Items will therefore typically take between three and five working days to arrive. If you have an urgent order then please call us on 01494 726234.

How do I cancel an order?

Orders may be cancelled by sending an email to mail@twistinthetale.co.uk quoting the PayPal Receipt Number. In line with Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) regulations you may decide to return goods within a 'cooling off' period of 7 days from the date of delivery. However the product must be unused and in 'as new' condition. Please contact us first by email to receive authorisation, obtain a certificate of posting (free from any post office) and send to the following address...

Returns of non-faulty goods are not normally entitled to a postage refund.

What if I have received a damaged item?

All orders are packaged so as to arrive in perfect condition. Any damaged item will be replaced free of charge. Just contact us via email to mail@twistinthetale.co.uk quoting your PayPal Receipt Number to arrange for a replacement to be shipped and receive a return authorisation number.

Privacy

We collect personal data solely for the purpose of processing your order. All financial details are retained by our payment provider and are not made available to us. We will not provide personally identifiable information to any third parties. We do not automatically log personal data nor do we link information automatically logged by other means with personal data about specific individuals. We do not use cookies to store personal data nor do we link non-personal information stored in cookies with personal data about specific individuals.
